Suomen Teollisuuskatot continues its strong growth in demanding roof renovation projects. During spring and summer 2026, we will carry out several roofing contracts across Southern Finland, with the largest and most prominent project located in Espoo.
Suomen Teollisuuskatot has been selected as the main contractor for a major roof renovation of a commercial property in the Lommila area of Espoo. This is a substantial project involving the complete renewal of the building’s waterproofing system.
The total renovated roof area is approximately 10,000 m². Waterproofing will be carried out using the high‑quality and durable RENOLIT ALKORPLAN F Classic PVC roofing membrane. The works are already underway, and the project is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2026.
This project demonstrates strong confidence in our expertise in large‑scale and technically demanding renovation projects, as well as our capability to act as the main contractor for complex roofing solutions.
Another project commencing in spring 2026 is an industrial building roof renovation in Kouvola. The first phase of the project covers approximately 1,200 m² of roof area.
The scope of work includes demolition of the existing bitumen roofing and mineral wool insulation. The new roof structure will be implemented as a Reroof solution, consisting of a load‑bearing steel deck, Recticel PIR insulation and a light grey ALKORPLAN F Classic PVC membrane. The renovation will be completed during April.
In addition to large roof renovation projects, Suomen Teollisuuskatot will also carry out several smaller‑scale roof renovations in spring 2026:
Residential apartment building, Loviisa
Renovated roof area approx. 600 m²
Commercial property, Vihti
Renovated roof area approx. 1,150 m²
Both projects will be executed using the white RENOLIT ALKORPLAN F Cool PVC roofing system and will be completed during the spring.
